He is always saying to use multiple thin coats of bondo. From the looks of the first video it was the same batch that made multiple thin coats. Is that correct? Or are we talking about many batches?

Common sense tell you to cut the rust out and replace it. IF someone does think this vid shows the right way to fix rust then they (like you) donnojack shit! :)

and guess what there is people saying ur way is wrong jus like i sayd

12 johnsont963 March 10, 2010 at 2:10 am

i do have a vid that shows the right way to do this (cut it out and replace the piece with metal) and if someone says just filling rust in with bondo is the better way to go their wrong. Like your screenname donnojack .:)

I think for a cheep repair it looks fine. Its not going to win any shows but most people who use bondo like this dont care about that. Sure you could of replaced the fenders and the rear quarters for a correct job but that would of cost tons of money. This way you get good results for under 100 bucks.

it should be against the law to post this on the internet. Some people might actually think this is the correct way to do body work.

i found this very useful to give me the steps to make my own minor body repairs, thank you!

22 streetrider21 March 10, 2010 at 7:43 am
